Green it
GREEN MACHINES
In the debate over Climate Change, many voices have been raised in alarm at the damage done to our planet. But change doesn’t just come from lobby groups or politicians. In fact, for any significant evolutionary leap in consciousness and behaviour to occur, heavy industry will have to be heavily involved.
The MONMET team takes the issue seriously, and has made it a priority to work on initiatives proving that the promotion of sound, progressive solutions to global warming is not just environmentally responsible – it’s good business.
Monmet president Mark Cahill founded a separate enterprise, Urban Recovery, to put that philosophy in practice, recycling architectural and industrial building materials from homes, estates, farms, churches and warehouses. Rather than piling up in scrapyards or in landfill, they’ve been made available to small businesses and individuals.
And that is just the beginning: the Monmet team works with a global network of partners who believe Greener business is not just an idea but also a mission. We invite all like-minded individuals and businesses to email us their thoughts and proposals for initiatives, inventions and joint ventures to move industry forward into a Greener future for our children.
