Monmet provides a comprehensive array of cast and forged specialty processes, whose respective strengths will meet your most exacting requirements:
- Our sand castings range in size from a few pounds to over 100 tons and are available in a full range of alloys including all grades of grey and ductile iron, ni-hard and ni-resists, as well as low-alloy carbon and stainless steel.
- Our investment Casting process provides components in virtually any ferrous or non-ferrous alloy. Also known as the lost-wax process, investment casting produces sophisticated near-net shape, close-tolerance components, reducing the final cost to our customers.
- Our centrifugal casting process offers bronze castings and stainless steel castings in both vertical and horizontal formats, along with our continuous casting products.
- We also provide open-die forgings, closed-die forgings and seamless rolled ring forgings in a similar range of ferrous and non-ferrous alloys.
- All products are available finish machined. Working closely with our partner companies, we provide complete fabrications as well as a full range of power transmission components including pinions, couplings and gearing.
